About the healing process
Healing time is 1-2 weeks. You must keep brows dry, no swimming/sunbaking, your brows will flake as they heal and you will lose some strokes this is completely normal. There are no guarantees as to how your skin will heal or how the colour will take to your skin although every effort is made to colour match your natural eyebrow colour. No makeup, cleanser or moisturizer to touch the brows and you won’t be able to donate blood for 4 months. The day of and for a few days after, the colour will be much darker than what it will be like once healed. Please book your touch up appointment in 4-6 weeks.
Before you come for your appointment
Microblading normally requires multiple sessions. I recommend at least 1 touch up appointment 4-6 weeks after your initial treatment. Here is a list of things to not have/take 24 hours prior to your appointment if possible. Alcohol, blood thinners, Fish oil, Anti inflammatory medication, Nurofen, Vitamin C, Coffee, Aspirin, Garlic, Chamomile, Glucosamine, Primrose oil, Ginger, Gingko & Antioxidants. Please do not shape, wax or tint your brows prior to your appointment. No chemical or laser peels 6 weeks prior, Botox should be avoided for 2 weeks prior. Hormone therapies and medications can affect pigment and cause some sensitivity. You cannot have cosmetic tattooing if under 18 years of age or pregnant. A patch test can be done prior and is recommended, unless waived by client.
Feather touch brows is a semi-permanent tattoo for the brows. Whether you have no hair at all, aren't happy with your shape or just want to fill in the gaps, this method is for you. Imagine not having to draw in your eyebrows everyday! Feather touch is a technique using a hand tool which lightly deposits pigment under the skin, tiny little stokes that mimic eyebrow hair are made. Your tattoo can last 1-3 years but this varies for each person. Skin type, lifestyle and how your own skin regenerates play a big part in this. It is recommended that you come for a yearly touch up to keep them looking vibrant and beautiful. I only use Quality Organic pigments which are free from heavy metals, AZO dyes and ferric oxides.

What to expect at your appointment
You will be required to complete the client forms, numbing cream is applied which can take 20 minutes to take affect. We will have a full consultation, measuring, drawing the shape and the treatment isn't started until we are both happy. Something to note, although it is rare, some sensitivity and discomfort may be felt even though every effort is made to make you comfortable with the anesthetic. The day of and for a few days after, the colour will be much darker than what it will be like once healed. Expect your brows to fade 30-50%.
